The Countryside Education Trust is giving people the chance to learn the basics of poultry keeping in this beginners guide.
An introduction to small scale poultry farming, will include:
• What breeds to choose.
• Housing and feeding requirements,
• Health and Husbandry and
• Handling and general social behaviour.
• There will also be opportunity for hands on experience with our own chickens.
The course will be held on Wednesday evenings, 18th & 25th June at 7.00pm at the Out of town Centre, Palace Lane, Beaulieu, Hampshire SO42 7YG at a cost of £12.00 per person, and booking is essential.
