The promenade development has now been completed and was officially opened in July 2006. A picture was taken during the development.
The project was jointly funded by Hampshire County Council, New Forest District Council and Hythe and Dibden Parish Council, and follows extensive public consultation on the design proposals. It features a brand new boardwalk and amphitheatre, which will be used to stage entertainment events, such as acts from the Waterside Arts Festival. |
