C97 PYLEWELL ROAD HYTHE - See Map

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that New Forest District Council, acting as agent to the traffic authority, Hampshire County Council, proposes to make an Order to allow water service connection  works to be undertaken, as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED:  That length of C97 Pylewell Road Hythe between its junction with School Road and a point 40m northwest of that junction.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE:

From the southern point of closure, southwest via School Road to its junction with Southampton Road; northwest via Southampton Road to its junction with Jones Lane; northeast via Jones Lane to its junction with Prospect Place; south east and southwest via Prospect Place its junction with Pylewell Road; southwest via Pylewell Road to the northern point of closure and vice versa.

The One-Way restriction on Pylewell Road will be suspended for the duration of the closure.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE:  From 23rd January 2012 for a period of six months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner.  (Notwithstanding the above it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer 3 days.)

Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
