A Home Office Pathologist will conduct a post-mortem examination at 3.30pm today, Monday, September 24, on the body of a young woman found by two walkers in the New Forest yesterday.

The body was found just before 5pm, in a remote location within the Busketts Lawn Inclosure near Bartley.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.

Formal identification procedures are still to be completed and full details of the deceased will not be released until then.
