Officers from the Totton Roads Policing Unit are appealing for witnesses to a single vehicle fatal crash at Hythe on the morning of Wednesday, November 29.
At about 9.30am, a beige Nissan Pulsar was northbound on Southampton Road, Hythe, near the junction of Lower Mullins Lane, when the driver apparently lost control, left the road and crashed through a fence.
No other vehicle was involved. The driver, believed to be a man in his fifties, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact the Totton Roads Policing Unit on 0845 045 45 45.
