|
Thriller/Drama - Directed by Roman Polanski from the novel by Robert Harris. A ghost writer (Ewan McGregor) hired to complete the memoirs of a former British Prime Minister ( any resemblance to Tony Blair is not coincidence!) uncovers secrets that put his own life in jeopardy. With 30 days to complete the manuscript he arrives in New England to meet Lang (Pierce Brosnan) at his beachfront home where he is staying with his wife (Olivia Williams) and his mistress/PA (Kim Cattrall). The body of the Ghost?s predecessor is found washed up on a beach and the Ghost soon finds himself in a murky world of duplicity and wrong-doing.
