Safer Neighbourhood Teams

Priorities for Hythe and surrounding areas include:
  • To target alcohol-related incidents and anti-social behaviour in Holbury precinct and also at all pubs in the area, including Hythe town centre.
  • To target anti-social behaviour in the Langdown Road area and teh Netley View area.
  • To target and reduce thefts of scrap metal and damage incidents at Marchwood recylcing centre. 

These are the priorities that people in your local area have agreed with the Safer Neighbourhoods team. You can influence these priorities by contacting your team, attending a meeting or speaking to members of the team when you see them out and about.

Beat Surgeries

Beat Surgery Here TodayBeat Surgeries are an opportunity for everyone to come and tell your local policing team what is important to you in your Neighbourhood, and therefore play your part in setting local policing priorities. 


The surgeries are held at:

  • Costa Cofee, Hythe town centre between 11am and 12 noon every Wednesday.

  • St Andrews Church, Beaulieu Road, Dibden
    Between 10am and 11am every other Thursday


Please come along and discuss any issues or concerns you may have in your neighbourhood with us in person. Alternatively, you can contact any member of the Safer Neighbourhoods team on the details below.
